Notes & Combos
I FINALLY remembered to save some replays during the grind! The last 4 replays at 559-954-097!
Ok, so, what's up with this deck?
White Forest cards provide new ways to access level 4 monsters to xyz summon with, especially in conjunction with the Toy engine. Additionally, this deck seems to work exceptionally well under Maxx C, so even though it doesn't run neither Crossout or Droll you can still play the long game with Genesis, Droplet, Toys, Thrust into Woes, and so on - while going 2nd you have the usual otk capabilities of Tellarknight, enhanced by Silvera for a potential quadruple piercing damage with Armor Fortress.
The full combo going 1st is absolutely crazy and it's not something that you can easily deal with using board breakers, so you have to stop with handtraps - altough this White Forest engine is really nice into hts, considering that any 2 lv4s are enough to pop off.
Why is there no Maxx C? Well, the reason is that Maxx C is not a spell/trap and is not that impactful into decks like Tenpai or Labrynth. If there is one moment when you can drop Maxx C, it's here and now - altough you can still play it if you like.
The grind was pretty quick, but there are still some possible fixes, like the amount of Unukalhais and Silvys (the two most ideal normal summons usually, altough out of those only Silvy is a 1 cars combo), and I'd probably add a Heavy Storm, as a Thrust target, solid board breaker and good sinergy with Toys even going 1st. You can also play more LIGHT Spellcasters for Ruciela (like Constellar Caduceus, or even extenders like the level 4 Dogmatika monsters which can come up to full combo without using the normal summon) but I opted to not do so, keeping the deck as slim as possible. Another possible change is related to the number of Sakitamas. You need at least 1 as a Toy Soldier search, and he's pretty solid to have, but has no sinergy with Toy Box or some of the White Forest cards. You can play 1 to 3 as you like. Also, ZS - Armed Sage is a card that we usually play at least as a 1x to search with Rota when the situation calls for it. I did not this time for the aforementioned reasons, as well as the fact that you can Rota for Toy Soldier relatively often (and even thrust for Rota from time to time) but I did have a game or two where I missed him.
Overall, the deck performed surprisingly better than I would have anticipated and it could be the best ways to play Tellars right now, altough of course it still is a rogue deck.
