Notes & Combos

I swapped Crossout for Talents and Goddess for Malong. Otherwise, the decklist is exactly the same as the one I used to win the Meta Weekly and become Master 1 several times.

But I'll say it again: Nadir Engine is a MUST for good VV players! :-)

5 ritual monsters may seem bricki, but you should always remember that you are a ritual deck nonetheless. And if I don't have any monsters to tribute because I've been handtrapped 3 times and can't get access to Lo as a result, an extra body like this can usually turn the game around.

Feel free to check out my replays and yes... VV best deck 🫶🏼

why arent you using maxx c

Because Maxx C doesn't help me win against Tenpai, doesn't help me break boards and is always negated anyway. Besides, VV has enough consistency that Maxx C is not 100% necessary.

What about extravagance and Super poly? I‘ve put a kaiju and broke a board with 7-8 negates.

It's a matter of taste. Kaijus, for example, don't do me any good if I get handtrapped by Tenpai 4 times on turn 1. Thrust or Talents are definitely better suited for this.

Superpoly is the best boardbreaker in my opinion. However, the "Discard 1 Card" sometimes hurts, because you have to remember... you're a Ritual deck and you always need gas and monsters to tribute. Besides, even a set of Superpoly won't do me any good if it gets destroyed by Tenpai with Duster and co. And since I never use my Omni and/or Spellnegate from my Guardian and my Pendulum Dragon to protect my Backrow, that's that.
