Notes & Combos

This was by far one of the most exhausting M1 grinds I have done. White Forest has to be one of the most poorly positioned decks in the format with Tenpai forcing you to run a million bricks causing you to end your turn with a single Imperm on Astellar, and the deck naturally being bad at playing into boards which are even more ridiculous due to having to deal with Tenpai themselves. Also the roach sadly still exists.

For most of the run the 3 Evenly and Thrust were 4 more HTs (3rd C & Imperm, and 2 of whatever I felt like at the time). Have just been switching things throughout the entire run when things didn't feel good, but I never ended up with something that did.

Benefits of Kashtira: Catching handtraps like Imperm/Veiler before committing to WF plays, Punisher access, opening Wraitsoth functions similar to Chicken Game, extra bodies to make Silhouhatte if they hold Imperm for Astellar or if you brick on Toys, Fenrir helps breaking boards which WF sucks at and Unicorn rips are toxic (sometimes you get to rip both Bident vs Tenpai and they dont know what to do then).

Downsides of Kashtira: Costs precious deckspace forcing you to cut down on non-engine and in my case I also cut 2 Toys.

Praying for Azamina soon...
