Notes & Combos

Played Fiendsmith control up until M2, but then I started to face only stun and Striker Tenpai and got demoted, so I switched over to this.

The boards that the deck can produce are very fluid and are quite strong even when interrupted.

Second replay shows off an example of forcing out interaction. Based on the opponent's toggle windows I figured they probably had at least 1 Bystial, so I tried to play around it by:

  • Threatening Baronne with Silvy revive while Mu Rcielago is on board
  • Threatening Ilia Silvia

so I still had a potential Fiendsmith line.

Other Options

I played the Beatrice/Elf package for a bit, but felt like it didn't come up consistently enough to be worth the 2 slots, especially with my minimal Fiendsmith package. If I was able to put 3 bodies on board with a spell/trap in hand I was probably winning regardless, so I didn't see the need to then go back into the White Forest part of my deck. If you were to play the bigger Fiendsmith package though it might be worth putting back Beatrice/Elf and taking out Caesar/Chaos Angel.

3rd replay shows off (more or less) full combo uninterrupted, and the other 2 are some interesting game states.
