Notes & Combos
Spent the last couple seasons playing WF so it's been pretty wild how much better the deck has become with the new support. This list was heavily inspired by the decks I saw a bunch of japanese players running early on in the season.
Kashtira package was the MVP of the climb. Unicorn and normal summon any handtrap is full combo, but it's also just super good into Maxx C / Fuwa. I won plenty games essentially just playing Kashtira control. Unicorn also has a ton of value this format because it can cut your opponent off of Fiendsmith.
The other crazy part of this list is only running a single engraver. This does a couple things. The downside is that yes, Engraver becomes a garnet that you never want to draw. Now this isnt all that different as you also dont usually want to draw Lurrie either, but now you have 3 extra slots in your deck for hand traps or non engine. This also means that if more people figure out how good Unicorn is and you're frequently cut off from the FS engine, it will be 3 less dead draws in your deck.
One thing that i've seen other lists try that i'd like to test is dropping Sinful Spoils of the White Forest + Guardian Chimera for more traps like Morrian and Aphes. Other than that I think the list is pretty tight and theres not much i'd change.
