Notes & Combos

I took a long break from Master Duel because I was burning out, but now I'm back and more Ancient than ever >.<

Decklist says two Maxx C but there were three. MDM won't let me add the third since it's already updated to the new banlist.

So, deck size. I spent most of the month hovering in between master 3 and master 4. I tried 40 cards and 45 with no real break through, but the night I up it to 50 cards it suddenly felt way more consistent and less bricky.

Thoughts on Mulcharmy:

These cards are amazing, but the issue is that for a number of our OTK combos we need monsters on the opponent's field. So either we shotgun the things in draw phase, or wait for them to commit to the field in Main Phase and risk a Talents. I lost a number of games through my climb just because I used one fo these in the draw phase, the opponent left their field blank, and I couldn't get enough damage on board.

However, there were other games were opponent would try to play into the one Mulcharmy, and I drop another, and they end with a few monsters on the field that I can run over with CAGG. It really does feel oppressive.

Overall, I enjoyed my run back to Master 1.
