Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Notable Changes From Season 36

Before going into changes, I want to address Mulcharmy. I feel these impact Mathmech less than people say. The exception is the Tenpai matchup since they have space for all "9 Maxx C". The strength of Mulcharmy is that with more copies, you are more likely to win the minigame and force people to end on half-boards. Yet Purulia was barely present in other decks! There's also lines to minimize their impact.

Purulia (Draw 1): Activate Circular to SS from hand. From here you summon Sigma and add Equation. You search Superfactorial with Alemb and then Equation revive to end on Terahertz sending Diameter. Superfactorial + Terahertz, Maxx would never.

Fuwalos (Draw 2): Activate Circular, summon Sigma, add Superfactorial. Summon Alemb from ED, add Diameter and NS Diameter. You can either make I:P for S:P or Heatsoul. Superfactorial + misc, Maxx would never.

Maxx is the common denominator in most losing matchups so nothing really changes. With the above lines in mind I will always hold my Crossout/Called By for Maxx. Less Maxx, more Mulcharmy is a positive change for Mathmech.

Now for the changes: I'm playing all 9 Mulcharmy & 3 Nib because these were the most impactful handtraps to force a halfboard vs the opponent. These perform very well vs giga combo decks like Yubel (Varudras was never seen in-game). Purulia was fine, but since it is matchup dependent (or Upstart) I may cut it when Fiendsmith drops.

You don't really care about opening a Mulcharmy going 1st, you have Packbit at worst, Mining, Small World anyways. On the other hand, your T1 board is strong as well - as long as our going 2nd winrate improves then we can sacrifice a bit of going 1st winrate. When you get hit by Maxx with no out, Mulcharmy are atrocious instead of a real handtrap. That should be the deciding factor for Mulcharmy's impact going 1st imo.
