Notes & Combos
To start I will say there was maybe 2 other lists that got me to M1 rank up but didn't quite make it. This one did and it could be decklist but it could also be variance. The SPoly version might cut it too but I ran into some issues with it. As mentioned in that list I like Droplet as a ninja board breaker and it did perform here.
Evenly? In Fire Dragon format? This month there was a lot of variance and a lot of decks like RB, Tear, Yubel, SEFK, Chimera etc which don't necessarily put up an out to Evenly Matched but are incredibly hard to play into otherwise. Second, an earlier list was using Golden Ninja to convert the dead Evenlys into plays which you could still use but I don't like how risky that card is when he dies to every handtrap under the sun.
In particular Droplet and EM help our awful matchup into Chimera and Voiceless. VV especially is hard to beat even when going first. When drawn together it can be devastating against VV, Varudras boards and White Forest Baronne/Reframing type nonsense because we have traps to send with the droplet.
It was still painful cause the format kinda sucks but I wanted to get a good one in with Ninja before Fiendsmith drops. Good luck against the occasional Gimmick Puppet - hope you draw one of your 6 hand traps. Don't get stormed.
Ty-Phon came in surprisingly clutch. No you don't need Insect. 43 for Notebooks because I want to punch Jioh in the face and for our state-mandated cringe floodgate.
