Notes & Combos

The final swansong of Snake-Eyes Superheavy Samurai.

Although I had some annoying bouts with this deck due to some unlucky hands, the deck quickly proved itself in the final legs of my Master I climb since I kept opening good hands and leveraged them accordingly.

I pivoted away from the FTK variant as it lacked the ED tools necessary to contend with going second or going first under a flurry of handtraps. My coinflip rate was atrocious this season so that further disincentivized me from running the FTK.

Aside from that, the deck has changed little despite my best efforts to improve it. Guess you really can't beat perfection.

Bagooska is theoretically not as powerful with the advent of the Mulcharmies + Maxx "C" combo on top of Shifter / Droll being less of an issue, but any alternatives like Spright Elf, Silhouatte Rabbit, and others were not sufficient replacements in my eyes so I kept it.

Fuwalos, on the other hand, is a massive boon for SHS Snake as much as it is an annoyance for it. It's either a free discard for Scarecrow or Rank 4 material for Banshee. The bird can even be free link material for IP / Apo, so it was a substantial improvement over Ghost Ogre and Snow Rabbit.

With Fiendsmith very likely to be in the next pack, it'll outclass everything that the Superheavy Samurai engine does for Snake-Eyes in terms of efficiency with a lack of atrocious bricks.

But considering SE Fiendsmith plays very similarly to SHS SE, I am very well prepared to pilot that variant.
