Notes & Combos

So the story for this month deck is I went into the synchronized cosmos pack for the the new icejade synchro only to get zero. With all my gems wasted I decided on naturia since I got a royal rare naturia beast. Without a doubt runick is the best support for this deck as it gives naturia the extra boost it needs. For the decklist I decided to go all in on going first. I tried a list with some going second cards but usually it wasn't enough. I would only play second if my maxx c resolved,ash stop their combo or they bricked. The minute they started comboing off I just scooped and moved on(even if my hand had good runick cards).

So with only a turn 1 mindset in mind what is the main combo?

1. First is to summon either naturia mole or camellia to get a naturia blessing. Do this step first to help bait out any handtraps.
2. Use your runick card(s) to summon hugin to search for the field spell.
3. Synchro into stardust charge warrior for a extra draw.
4. Use blessing to revive camellia and then synchro into baronne.
5. Use any runick card(s) that do not interupt your opponent to draw extra cards.

And with the main combo ended your end board should be runick fountain and baronne. Your hand should have other runick cards for interruption on your opponent turn. On your opponent turn you should try to get the camellia/sunflower negate combo but I find this to be unreliable sometimes since they can just beat over sunflower most of the time and I will have neither butterfly or slumber to stop the attack.

Note: Not every turn you should make baronne as naturia beast can be a better play but this should only be done with knowledge of your opponent's deck. This could be done easily with your runick cards since they banish cards face up and runick allure is a ideal card to do that. Banishing one card for every quick play spell card play adds up overtime so don't sleep on that. Also munin discards for cost so you can discard sacred tree if it's in your hand.

For the extra deck I never used exterio or pixie dragon at all and black rose and ruddy rose was used only once so feel free to use whatever else you might need. Barkion was used for stun decks and coral was used for a alternative way to make a level 10 synchro using geri or discard to destroy 1 card.

Overall, a fun deck for the ladder. Not the best but can hold it's own against a variety of decks.Some decks it has a great matchup with is stun,dragon link,branded and even other runick variations.
