Notes & Combos

Some small changes compared to the last lists I used to M1 just to try something different in a tired format, decided to cut one Anima and the level 4 banish target (Kaitoptera/Giant Rex) for Small World while keeping the deck at 40 cards just to see how it would perform.

Anima at 1 it's probably the best ratio for it tbh, cutting the Giant Rex/Kaitoptera can seem a bit weird but the reasoning was basically that most of the time it's not really something needed to go full combo and when you go full combo I always prefer to put a Misc under Dolkka then Kaito/Giant Rex, or it's more of a win more to get Baronne + combo. Going second the deck loses an extra body but in my climb never felt the need for it.

The biggest impact I felt was losing the best play the deck has under Shifter. (NS Ovi, send Kaito/Rex to the GY, it gets banished and then it summons itself to at least get a rank 4 on the field). And of course it has a worse grind game in a deck that already struggles with it.

Would I recommend this list? Not really, but in terms of win ratio it worked pretty well.
