Notes & Combos

This season was pretty rough, the power level of decks just keeps going up. Despite having Mikanko, I almost never won going second if they had a full board setup unless I just drew a god hand. I direct attack OTKed going second ONCE this entire season. Granted, people usually surrender when they see it coming, but still lol

I put more snake eyes stuff in to help playing through hand traps. Who knew that putting more good cards in your deck helps you win XD. Also took the zealantis stuff out because I felt like it almost never came up. Since I'm not running armor xyz stuff, you can get full combo just with 2 level 4's. I'm sure there are games where you'll wish you had it, but I like having the flexible slots in the ED. Maybe I just got lucky, you can always take linkuriboh and masq out for saryuja and zealantis (make sure to put Getsuga in too if you do!), but linkuriboh turns diabel into a 1.5 card isolde and masquerena gives you some plays under maxx C as well as an extra interaction on your end board instead of just going straight to SP.

I probably won't play this version next season, still trying to cook up an Ogdo version that's really solid (I've got one, but it's def not better than this one haha). We'll see what comes out of the lab in August!
