Notes & Combos
Pure striker season 30. This season felt somewhat better than the previous one to be honest.
This list is mainly focused on preventing the opponent from making big boards with handtraps.
Boardbreakers do not do much against decks that have most of their interruptions located in the GY so you want to prevent them from getting to this point with hts. You need to do so properly though. Don't blindly negate their monsters without being sure that can't do much afterwards and you'll have a pretty good time against most decks.
The only thing I want to note is that Ogre and Cosmic Cyclone saved me many times. Dealing with floodgates or annoying cards that need to activate an effect to resolve feels like a win. Can be decent against fire kings and horus bs. Also pretty good against field spells.
Veiler, imperm are pretty good even if kirin is a thing. They don't always have kirin in hand and there are good non fire monsters to negate.
Ash, maxx c pretty self explanatory.
Cyanos came up a lot. It helps extend plays and break boards easier. It can also help provide follow up or link climb material. No more than 1 though, unless you want to brick or draw multiple copies and having nothing to do with it. 1 serves its purpose perfectly.
Thrust package for Talent, HFD and Engage access. HFD and Talent are still good, because floodgates are a thing. Mainly Kashtira running macro cosmos and D-fissure.
Extra deck feels tight, but Camelia and s:p are a must much like a charmer and accesscode. Azalea is nice to have since Nib itself or Nib token + raye/roze/veiler/ogre can make her.
Engage 0 is there just as an out to untargetable monsters without having to waste Accesscode early. I didn't use it during my climb, but I wanted to have it just in case. It's definitely cutable.
Good luck.
