Notes & Combos
I had fun with Horus engine last season a bit this season but it's a bit inferior to just playing hand traps.
This season I played most of Diamond with Horus but I was seeing a lot of Macro decks which kills the Horus engine and going 2nd into some decks you really need hand traps as engine is rough to break their boards with engine.
I finally got to crafted the Runick cards, couldn't pass M3 with the Runick ThunDra variant. It's really consistent and very good going first but it's really bad going 2nd due to the fact of low non engine room and the low quality of Runick Spells.
Played the whole DC with this list and as usual didn't had trouble climbing as stage 1 isn't that competitive, also why I never bother to submit lists to the website.
I choose D.D. Crow as my tech of choice as it felt more impactful than Veiler, as it's really hard to hit Fire King or R-Ace with it anyway. Crow is pretty mid vs R-Ace, I legit always threw Crow at them for them the have the specific card to extend through it. Vs Fire King is really good you can keep them off Arvata or just remove Garunix/Princess to remove a few interactions, funny that you can draw imperm and crow vs them and it's usually better to save those to use during your turn.
Crow hits a lot of other decks I was playing against like Horus decks, Tear and Purrely.
Sauravis was very solid and it came up in my rank up vs Kashtira to clear their board through Fenrir under Shifter.
I've been considering running Almiraj (not Linkuriboh) for the scenarios I can NS a hand trap and go for S:P with a Bystial I had on the field, to either clear smth or banish smth from my gy, I'll with cut Azalea or Unicorn for it, both came up this season, some games vs Horus you want to clear their stuff and vs Kash banishing or destroying isn't that great cuz they can recover Unicorn is pretty good for that.
Replays
I always share replays in MD, most of the duels are either wierd hands, trick situations or cool interactions. Check my profile (817-429-458) I always try to add new replays.
