Trap heavy Lab is still a very rare version for some reason. But this is probably the best time to play ths version. You ignore most handtraps like and this deck doesnt die to ash unlike handtrap labrynth.
And this is arguably how Labs are meant to be played, with a lot of trap cards.
We are now forced to play the furnitures because rollback is such a good card. And it's even better in this build because of the ammount of different trap cards you can copy. Having them negate evenly and having rollback in grave to activate it again is a heavenly feeling.
Arias also benefits here. More trap, means more chances you can have a turn zero trap card play (although on my run I only did it twice, one with daruma and another with torrential).
No more D barrier, not enough branded to justify it. I tried Simul Archfiends (vs link decks) but I didn't really see it go off that often. Actualy I can't remember a game where it was useful. Rivaly on the other hand is almost auto win vs snake eyes. sadly, the other times I opened it is going 2nd vs lab and matchmechs. Nice one konami.
No hand traps means we are at the mercy of our opponents endboards. But this is a relatively okay meta for set 5 strats, with the only notably annoying deck going 2nd being Mathmech. (next month purely will be annoying and maybe almost unplayable if you can't out the big kitty before they spin all your cards).
