Notes & Combos

Hi. I've been playing Master Duel for a few months by now, and today I finally made it to Master 1 This is my deck and honestly, I feel like it is quite strong. It struggles going second if I get a hand with no interactions whatsowhever, and going first it hates Maxx C (I hate that card), but overall it can do pretty well, even against meta decks. It has a few differences from the standard Infernoble deck which I guess I will elaborate on:

  1. As I said, I HATE Maxx C. So I refuse to run it myself. That's why Droll and Lock is there in its place. Granted, it obviously hinders my own combo, but i'ts better than giving half of their deck to the opponent, I tried Framegear Gamma before, but I've soon noticed that in the higher tiers, players are savvy enought to not randomly trow their Maxx C as soon as possible. I know TTTrust + Heavy Slump or Card Destruction is an alternative, so maybe I coulld try that.
  2. I play two Fire Flints and Phothon Trasher to increase the Special Summonable Warriors versus Equips ratio, since at first I only had one Fire flint, and I bricked quite a few times on hands full of nothing but Equips. As for why Trasher instead of Red Quantum Layer, Trasher is only Rare instead of Ultra Rare, and futhermore, he's level 4, meaning that he has more sinergy with the Syncro and Xyz plays of this deck
  3. At first, I had Living Fossil instead of Metalsilver Armor as the last equip, but it didn't come up very often the need for it, so I put in Metasilver because, in conjunction with Oliver, you can target lock the opponent, at least for effects that target monsters. One time a Chain Burn deck Surrendered when they realized they cound't activate Ring of Destruction. Howether, if you don't care about that, put in Living Fossil
