Finally got Master 1 with my favourite deck.
Nothing special about the list, it's actually similar to a list I got off of this site a month or two ago. Moonstar is cool and better on turn 1 than Wildwind, and turn 1 is the most important turn in YGO.
Horus was everywhere early in the season, and this deck has some real advantages against it. Going first, resonators can easily set up red zone and Hot red Abyss, so you have two guaranteed negates against the sarcophagus. Going second you need some handtraps so that you do not get locked out of the game by their spam, but if you manage to get to play Gaia + original RDA, you get an easy boardwipe that doesn't trigger their effects.
After reaching master 3 easily, I started facing more and more SE and Rescue Ace, which slowed my progress and I had to really grind the last few days. I should have probably switched the Bystials out for more nibirus and veilers, but I really wanted to reach M1 by only playing this version which I really like.
Speaking of card I need to switch out. The big Supernova dragon was easily the least summoned ED monster of my climb. And every time I did try to summon it, I got blown out by something.
And the most underrated card was Fiendish golem. So many games where it gave my just enough time to survive a little longer and clutch out a win.
Overall, I just really love RDA.
