Notes & Combos
First time climbing with Thrust! Made it a ton easier to see Grass though I'm sad to say the winrate stayed at a consistent 70%, around the same as last season. A good majority of the losses were actually from stun decks, running barrier statues and boarders or necrovalleys and d fissures :/ those types of decks, as well as weird combo decks that end on similar floodgate-effects are the hardest for this deck to deal with. Still though, against any of the 'top 3' most popular (lab, purrely, and kash) this deck has an unbelievably high winrate - partly do to Thrust.
For anyone interested in trying Chaos, I'd say go for it!! :D Bystial Dis Pater and friends are on the way and the deck is already super viable for a ladder climb! This specific version (Ecclesia Chaos) is strong because of the versatility naturally found in most hands, providing a ton of opportunity for skill expression and playing around the known cards the opponent has. ^^ It promotes interactive gameplay with very few blow-out cards, forcing players into positions they're not used to and they often misplay to make matters better for ya. c:
P.S. this specific list has an even 18 light and dark mons in the main deck!! :3 even 18 spells if you count chaos emp as a spell too >.< wish they gave some light extra deck "chaos" synchros q.q
