Notes & Combos

This is probably one of my favourite lists of all time. Main concept is just that a single Ostinato will get you 2 mat Apo + a draw + Banshee to search Trudea and does so without using your normal summon. Refrain isn’t even a bad normal summon as Refrain + Stand Up/Oath/Primera/Bonds (don’t run bonds) is full combo still. You can pendulum summon the Primera because she’s Light.

At worst the melodious package is great at eating hand traps before you go into your centurion stuff. You can always make Bagooska instead of Banshee, which came up often as an option when I got interrupted. As a bonus, having scales up makes Wake Up live without a centurion in the back row.

Only real downside is that your S/T can get full easily, which is actually why Wake Up is so good in this list. In a typical combo if you reach Auxilia you can search Phalanx or Wake Up. That gives you the option of either:

• Auxilia, set Phalanx, Primera and Trudea back row (all 5 S/T full if you have scales set, no room for drawn Imperms, etc.) OR
• Auxilia, Level 8 Token, IP, Primera back row (2 S/T open with scales set)

I was originally running Odd Eyes Absolute + Vortex package with 2 Bacha's and a Beyond the Pendulum because it gives you an extra Omni negate off of Ostinato. Don’t. Huge trap. It was just win more and severely limited the extra deck. Also had to play another Melodious brick.

The extra deck I settled on is perfect imo. No extra fat. Everything pulls its weight. Second SP and Legatia came up regularly. Schuberta is better than a 2nd Bacha and comes up in weird game states for graveyard disruption.

Was running 3x Veiler for most of my games until 9 games in a row the opponent drew Maxx C in their opening hand. Added in Gamma package but kept one Veiler so the deck is 41 cards idk man it worked.
