Notes & Combos
Pure Fire Kings Season 35
Pure Fire Kings worked out very solidly in Tenpai format due to its multi-layered boards, and while it's not quite as fool-proof as the Snake-Eyes variant due to no good Apollousa access and more difficult lines to make Fucho it can still do so with good hands. The climb was overall not that rough except for a few streaks of bad luck with sacks. Tenpai has ruined the format, not just as a deck by itself but some of the degenerate going-first decks I had to play against felt miserable as everybody is either playing Tenpai or some sort of going first hard-counter. Ogre felt super hit-or-miss, but I still kept it because it did just enough to make me not want to fully remove it.
