Notes & Combos

I'm still addicted to SHS Snake for some reason. Guess I have something to prove I guess.

Anyways, I truly think I struck gold with this current SHS Snake deck. Such a small change, but it has consistently produced some of the best hands that I have ever seen in Master Duel.

Hand quality is the main difference maker when it comes to SHS Snake's performance in a duel, and being able to open broken starters and extenders is a godsend for going first and second. I've had many games where they exhaust everything on the SHS engine only to die once the Snake-Eyes engine remotely touches the field.

Why 2 Wagon?

Pushean told me that he was running 2 Wagon in his SHS Snake deck and I wanted to try it out. Turns out adding more SHS starters (which are more powerful than the pure Snake-Eyes engine atm) is a good thing.

Arguably one of the bigger changes is getting rid of One for One in favor of more handtraps. I have not missed that card in Master Rank once I got rid of it thanks to the increased access to SHS cards.

Fiendsmith might not be in next pack (probably around February) so I'll probably keep playing this deck until that engine replaces Wakaushi's role as Snake-Eye Ash / Poplar.

For now...
