Notes & Combos

We really need a nuclear bomb of a ban list to help rogue decks soon. Back on my journey to play every deck that was feature in Yugioh Vrains and the second to last deck on my list was tindangles. Played by Akira Zaizen he made the critical error of playing a flip deck during a link meta. Only with 2 duels on screen he lost both but the tindangles did leave a "I want to see more of that" impression on me. Unfortunately for me that would leave me down a hole carved out of the crazy amount of ur and sr I use to try and make this work.

Now I don't know if this is cheating but I didn't just climb with this deck but climbed with different variations of the deck. Usually if I started seeing a certain deck a lot I would switch. The current horus version was the most consistent to climb and probably your best bet but very expensive. I'll go more into details on the different variations but let's talk about what the tindangles can do.

Dholes can send a spell/trap to the gy so good for sending a transaction rollback. Angel can end the battle phase upon being attack so good against tenpai. Finally our only link monster acute cerberus seems lackluster at first but if you link summon it with dholes you can attack with it 3 times for 9000 dmg. Now we only play 1 of each tindangle but that's because the trap can revive 3 in a instant so you don't want to play more than necessary. If you have both of the traps in the gy you can activate both since there is no once per turn on it.

Quick Summaries of the different variations I use:

  • Pure Tindangle: Most fun version but relies too heavily on milling. If your opponent plays a 60 card deck you really don't have good ways to mill a lot of cards.

  • Tindangle Horus: Consistent with the horus engine and what got me my rank up game. Your opponent will do everything to get rid of the horus cards but then you revive the tindangle cards and go for game.

  • Tindangle Lightsworn: Most expensive when combined with the horus engine. Mills like crazy but 1) not consistent and 2) for me turn 2 was a lot more miss then hits. Used only against tenpai.

Quick Summaries of the different variations I didn't use:

  • Tearlaments Tindangle: A worst version of just regular tearlaments but probably the strongest variation of tindangles.
  • Floodgate Tindangle: A worst version of stun.
  • Tindangle Shaddoll: A solid option but I'm not a fan of winda but if you are go nuts cause there is great synergy here.
