I gotta admit playing without the maxx c package was a pain but this deck is nothing but juice. Maxx c isn't as valuable for traptrix as it is with other decks because we have a limited number of playable cards from hand and we want our traptrix monsters to stay in deck to enable sera better. I could definitely recommend finding room for ash if maxx c gets too frustrating. Altho thrust > dbarrier and pass works fine if you can, just pray you're not playing lab or scareclaw. I'm running two because drawing into it is even better. Double floodgate traphole is quite good, with xyz's being extremely prevalent (especially kash), it can outright shut decks down immediately. For the extra deck I would highly recommend running Aussa, it has so many uses. It's a great way to get parallel exceed out if you draw into it midgame. Stealing a fenrir is always good but you can also steal a maxx c and you can make atypus earlier on your turn because maxx c is an insect. Exciton knight is solid, has definitely made for some comebacks but you can probably do without it. Two rafflesia is unnecessary, I usually ended up banishing one for prosperity, I'd prefer two pingus because it can make for some great followup plays being able to search for your normal summon, if Unicorn isn't banishing zeus they are banishing this instead. Final note, make time thief turn 1, it is godly but I would advise against activating in the standby phase on their turn. Too many times has my opponent gotten immediate thrust access and you really only need time thief for the non target spin.
