Notes & Combos

Never dropped a game against Tenpai with this list. Turns out getting to go first with a trap deck works pretty well.

Minimized handtrappable cards to lessen impact against handtrap heavy deck builds, and maximized on counter traps to deny any mass destruction cards and to end engine attempts immediately.

The deck is horrible into Yubel, but as long as people stick to Tenpai you'll have a great time. Snake-eye Fireking can be a little rough if they have the right amount of extenders, but not impossible. Most other decks fold to Rexterm backed up with a counter trap.

I really liked Ghost Ogre as the only handtrap. It's live a majority of the time and if it isn't, you can use it to go into PEP for the OTK. Wannabee is nice to replace the limited pots, although sometimes you don't get the chance to activate the trap you set before it's send to the grave.

Soul of the Supreme King was nice to apply early pressure before you commit to a fusion trap. Unfortunately not a lot of people played into it, but when the second effect resolves you almost always win.
