Notes & Combos

Same list from last season. I tried a few games with Solemn Judgement/Strike but it didn't help too much. I got most of my climb done before Tenpai so I could play that in rated duels. Tenpai is an obviously tough matchup with basically no protection from board breakers except for Infinitrack.

These numbers are estimates but I'd say about 20%-30% of games were against Tenpai so it's not like it's every game. I only beat Tenpai a handful of times and it's usually just hoping they don't have the right board breakers and spamming bodies in defense position hoping to survive turn 2. Cosmic Cyclone still performs really well against their field Spell as well as Centurion. The only other deck I played a decent amount is Ritual Beast but I have no idea how that deck works or where to interrupt. I pretty much just attach what they banish to Arise-Heart as material especially if it a card that they did NOT SS this turn since they can only SS once with most monsters and it seems to work pretty well.

The last card I tried but ultimately removed was Ghost Ogre. I theory it's really good against Centurion, VV, Tenpai but it's turned off in most cases with Arise-Heart so I just cut it.

For Pot of Prosperity banish targets are: Garura, Big Eye, Flare (unless I can get opp to low LP), Dark Armed, Arise Heart, Infinitrack. If I don't banish Flare I will usually banish another Dark Armed or Big Eye if not needed or XYZ locked from Kashtiratheosis.
