Notes & Combos
Probably the fastest climb I've done (5-10 hours?) with 12 winstreak going into M1. The games are very short and fast. All these tenpai players just let me go first and the matchup against them going first is quite good, maybe like 70% win rate. Right now it feels like maybe ~75% of players I face are on tenpai. Let's say, with very simplified math that going first wins 70% of the time, and with 75% of players on Tenpai (and thus making us go first even if we lose coin flip), this gives us overall 65% win rate for playing this deck right now. This makes mathmech pretty strong again. (If facing more yubel and SE FK then this deck would be much worse)
The decklist is very standard. I run 2 droll and 2 ghostogre just to see dups less. Droll is good for allowing us to play even if maxC resolves. Sometimes you should droll after you search superfactorial, and sometimes you should just cut the losses and go for terrahertz only. If vs tenpai dragon then it is still very possible to win with just terrahertz, since this card counters their battle phase strategy.
Since there are so many tenpai making other ppl go first, they cannot run too many board breakers, which makes the deck weaker imo, especially against mathmech. We can play through handtraps fairly well and the best case is that they use some handtraps but we still end on superfactorial and terrahertz. Then on their turn the game gets really simple after they play some stuff, we laplacian and also hand rip 1, leaving very few cards for them to play through our own hand trap and aggregator/desavwurm/laplacian negate/terrahertz. Dump firewall defenser to deal with the destruction breakers. Laplacian also has destruction protection if there are materials left. If they play droplet and/or superpoly, then they could out the terrahertz, but it's still possible to get into a grind game and win after that. If they lightningstorm/duster backrow, sometimes I just activate the superfactorial and save the desavwurm negate since it's very strong against their spells. This is even more true if you run Enigmaster Pakbit since you will still have monster removal. I would play that card over Final Sigma but I'm poor so I didn't craft it. Final Sigma only came up 1 time(won) but prob not worth the spot.
If you are facing more tenpai in your rank, then you can consider running the micro coder and cynet conflict package / talents. Tradeoff is less HT and worse draws off MaxC but if you always go first it's def worth.
Replays
735-802-737
replays are a lot of blooper reels of opponent not knowing how our cards work and trying to destroy stuff through firewall defenser or activating effects during battle phase.
the other thing to note is that tenpai runs like 25 non-engine, which means their engine cards are pretty low, so if you could deal with 1-2 of those then they usually just run out of gas. They pretty much just abuse field spell to get around this tradeoff, which we can deal with consistently.
