Notes & Combos

Holding onto God, loving my wife, working many hours per week as a Registered Nurse, and preparing for several life changes that will happen within the next year, this is still my favorite way to play comepetively and without taking the game too seriously. I decided to play seriously during this tumultuous climate of powerful decks to prove to myself that this deck works to Master (and Master 1), and it does.

Critically think to combine the various elements of this Runick Stun deck list to form battle barriers, stun your opponents plays, and banish their deck into submission. This priniciple of play is more exciting and dangerous when considering the arrival of Tenpai and the board-breakers they run.

Time-Tearing Morganite is a must at 3 for the grind-game; Upstart at 3, Extravagance and One Day of Peace for thinning, drawing and battle damage. Barrier Statue at 3 because LIGHT, Majesty @ 2 to reduce hand clutter, and Fossil Dyna for sneaky plays. Flood-Gates and Battle-Barriers are a must (Tenpai), and Judgment at 3 for board-breakers. Skill drain needs to be played carefully with board-breaker threats. Super Ancient Grave useful for your Fusion/Synchro & Level Monster decks. Runick Mane is useful as a battle-barrier to trigger/remove Tenpai, XYZ, or other monster threats during battle or your turn. Super Starslayer incorporated for your ocassional 3K+ ATK opponents, Linkuriboh for Iblee, and S:P for when you can actually use her ;).
