Notes & Combos
Reached Master I in Season 21 with Mathmech, Tear getting buried into the ground made playing this deck viable again after many months of just not having great matchups with the meta.
Went for a build similar to how i was playing the deck at the start of the year, being more focused on having as many Small World targets as possible. Obv Circular is a broken asf card and you want it in your hand as often as possible, but there are plenty of occasions where the best option is bridging to another handtrap for whatever situation presents itself. Droll & Lock Bird is a card i wasnt playing when starting the climb but it is just so good against the current decks on the ladder esp Purrely. Ghost Belle is also a card you want to prioritize having so your Superfactorial goes through for Laplacian, dodging cards such as Bystials and Called By the Grave.
Basic end board going first in this build is Heatsoul with a set Superfactorial, three Mathmech names in grave including Diameter, and resources in hand to deal with whatever your opponent has for turn 2. If you open enough extenders you can also end with a Transcode Talker providing target protection for Heatsoul, Linguriboh for the Labrynth matchup, or even I:P Masqurena to link off for Unicorn on the opponents turn. I also really like going for a Laplacian on turn 1 at the cost of a slightly better end board, as taking a card out of the opponents hand can often mess up their plays and gives me a better idea of what i am playing against. Its another reason why this deck is so much better when you dont have to worry about triggering Tearlament cards in the GY every game.
Turn 2 the gameplan is as simple as always: push through as many of the opponents negates as needed and go Update Jammer into Accesscode Talker.
Went 10-0 from M3 to reach M1, was a fun climb and always a good time bringing this deck out again.
