Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

The Master climb this season was really quick game wise. Days wise, I wasn't super playing a ton and only actually streamed the game once in my Sunday streams (out of 3 so far this month), so in that regard, it was pretty slow.

Amazingly enough, I only saw 1 Lab deck in Master, which was very nice.. as Lab caused me plenty of issues back in Diamond.

Regarding the deck, I had Kurikara in it until my last 3 games in M2 before ranking up. I took her out for a 3rd Droll only since out of my last 4 games before stopping the other day, I had 3 games against Purrely. Never drew Droll in my last 3 games though, so I put her in my decklist over a 3rd Droll since she deserves it more.

Given I have a heavier trap build, I went with 2 Kino and 1 Pudica. I've seen some trap builds cut Pudica/Garden.. but the extra utility she can provide is too much for me to want to remove her. I still sometimes ended up having both Pudica + Garden in my opening hands though... so even with both at 1, you are not free from that pain.

I used IDP over CED as Lab annoyed me in Diamond, but even so, IDP was good enough. Just beware of the Purrely trap that shuffles them back into the deck to blank it..

3 Torrential since I still like the card. Destroy everything or flip everything f/d and have a field day hopefully.

3 Strike and 3 Judgment since I'm always a fan of them and Strike helps going second especially if you have Torrential and aren't facing specifically Purrely/Lab 24/7. (well, Strike helps against Purrely/Lab if you had it prior to them getting anything going, but I meant TT + Strike to clear boards with my last bit)

Regarding the ED, I don't believe that I used the Utopia package at all. Same goes for Asophiel... I think. If not, I certainly didn't use her a ton. Goddess didn't come up as well.. I think? but I'd like to keep her for those niche scenarios where you can't out something large like PEP. Everything else barring ZEUS got use though.. but as we know, ZEUS is ZEUS.

Not too many games nor any against Purrely, as those mostly seemed to boil down to did I go first? did I open a handtrap that could shut them down?

I did lose a game against them going first since I didn't know at the time that their trap shuffles cards back in, which blanked my IDP on their last lyly (only card left) and they won with a 6 mat ZEUS.
