Notes & Combos
Running a Bystial engine in a Tearlaments and Yubel meta feels like playing in Easy mode. I don't think this is the best Deck, it's not even close to Fire King Snake-Eye, but: 1) I'd rather uninstall the game than keep playing Snake-Eye, I can't stand it anymore, 2) Bystials keep the game interactive even going second, which is much more fun than shotgunning Maxx C or Veiler and praying they don't have Call By the Grave.
Tech choices
- Droll & Lock Bird will (hopefully) cut off one of the opponent's engines from their combo. It's good against Fire King and Tearlaments (if they search a Field Spell with Rainbow Bridge/Trivikarma, they won't be able to add with it), and it does at least something against every Deck. Other valid options I can think of are Gamma, Ghost Ogre and maybe D.D. Crow. I'm not a big fan of Imperm/Veiler as all Decks in the meta have a powerful way to dodge them.
- Cosmic Cyclone helps you deal with Nightmare Pain since this is a Link Deck with high Attack monsters, the Voiceless Voice cards, Sulliek and, most importantly, the Centur-Ion Field spell. It is also very powerful going first, stopping King's Sarcophagus, Barrier of the Voiceless Voice and Field spell effects.
Engine choices:
- 1x Collapserpent, I'm not playing LIGHT handtraps, I'd rather play as many Bystials as I can instead.
- No Levianeer, with Dragon Link's current state, you only search it if you open YouTube videos custom hands, plus I don't have enough LIGHT monsters to take advantage of it going second. If Wyverbuster and Chaos Space are ever put to 3 again, I'll reconsider it
- 3 Striker Dragons, you need 2 in your main combo if you're playing Dillingerous Dragon, the third one is for grind game.
- Dillingerous Dragon gives you one extra body to negate with Borrelend to get your Rokket reborn and keep comboing. You don't really want to perma negate a Borreload or a Dis Pater.
- No Branded Beast to stick to 40 cards, my go-to search with Lubellion is Regained anyway, and Little Knight does the same job but better; I see nothing wrong with also playing Beast if you want.

This is something I was wondering about: Why people use Levianer if you can't search it.
It's another dragon body with a strong removal effect that doesn't target cards. It's not integral to any combos but it's nice to have when you wanna break an opponent's board while giving summon targets for Dis Pater.
Like Crimson said, Chaos Space can search Levianeer. Seyfert can search it by discarding Lubellion, but if you already have Lubellion in hand, you can just use that to add Magnamhut to add Levi anyway at the end phase.
This is also true but getting Levi before end phase so you can handrip and have the extra body is pretty nice. You can also get Lubellion back to hand by using seyfert 2nd effect, so really you can get both and then search druis in end phase for extra disruption.
in certain combos where u have access to both seyfurt and lubellion, you can force the seyfurt effect to search for levi. You can do this by bringing back levi either thru pisty/ dis pater and then tributing dispater to summon your lubellion from grave getting full use of all the cards
Hi! Do we have a way to play under droll? Is it Spheres pass or let them draw 4 (if we are under Maxx C) and then drop the droll?
