Notes & Combos
This deck gotta be at least near the top of tier 2. Put some respect on it. 75% win rate (15-5 for last 20 with 1 game loss to egregious misplay)--And I only just picked this deck up this month. Feels like swordsoul with updated support to be honest so maybe thats why I could it the ground running somewhat.
049578024 is my in-game ID if you want to watch mediocre VV gameplay, there are some good back and forths.
It was 40 cards but called by the grave is just way too cracked. It comes clutch when you have those hands that play around everything except for Ash, and since you can just ignore your opponents handtraps 70% of the time you can save it for disruption--and it is some of the best disruption in the game right now. Also a crazy board breaker into most decks you will see on ladder.
I also used to play veilers and gammas but dropped it for more power spells, e.g. Triple Tactics Talents. VV offers only limited disruption so it was great to punish my opps for using what is usually a pointless handtrap. After they neg themselves you handrip them, and that information is so valuable in letting you know how to stop their key plays. Admittedly I had some hands that did nothing and was stuck with TTT a couple games, but not like veilers or a driver wouldve stopped my opp either.
Magnamut is just solid interruption and doubles as engine searching for Sexyfeet or Sauravis.
For the Extra deck, only things that came up were Mondo (for board breaking), Ntss, SP, IP, White Lady, and Typhon. Linguriboh was there for Iblee locks.
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
