Notes & Combos
No Block Dragon, no problem.
Why play this combo deck? Aside from it being fun to excavate cards from the top of your deck, Rocks do not care about Shifter or Droll. I can still make 80% of my end board (Spright Elf, Masq, Colossus, Borreload and Barrone) through those interuptions. Guardian also protects you against Nib or Ash/Veiler if neccessary. Koa'ki Meiru Gaudian is hands down the MVP of the deck. I finished my climb from Plat 5 to Master 5 with a 68% win rate.
I played a couple different versions of Rocks while grinding the ladder. I started with a version with a Spright splash because Spright Red + Kao'ki Guardian insulated me from Nib but I settled on a SHS engine because the gas it gives you allows you to push through stacked boards. Speaking of the SHS engine, Wakaushi is a one card Adamanicaptor Risen which is too good to pass up. You can also activate Soulclaw while there are S/T in your graveyard so chaining Called By or Crossout to Wakaushi's effects doesn't stop you from advancing from your board.
The only thing I'm going to end up changing in the future is subbing out Bagooska for S.P when it's released. I didn't summon Bagoo often and unlike when running it in SHS, Bagoo by itself isn't enough to stop your opponent because you can't run a lot of non-engine in this deck.
