Notes & Combos

Firstly - huge thank you to Jay In 4k for initially publishing his version of the deck last month, and providing a really solid blog post about it. I approve of the philosophy behind it and so gave it a whirl.

For those that missed it, the premise is that we are still in a fairly heavy hand trap meta, and decks like this don't feel forced into playing heavily into them. Summon Silvy set Woes is a fairly strong play into Maxx C - especially when paired with some of the best 'turn skip' traps in the game. The deck has a fairly solid Tenpai match up since Trap Trick ---> Dimensional Barrier is extremely nasty and difficult to recover from.

If your opponent doesn't have any hand trap decks, then this deck can totally combo off + it has layered disruption. It can flip, bounce, hand trap, destroy through a variety of monster and trap effects which is sorta difficult for some decks to handle. Also Silvera is NOT a hard OPT. In theroy I think you can loop its effects 3 times in this deck (if the stars align), but I had a lot of fun triggering it twice on my opponents turn.

Silhouhatte Rabbit was probably MVP tbh (was previously running Cross Sheep). The thinking was that the Cross Sheep felt a little win more and was a bit telegraphed for my liking. wheras Silhouhatte Rabbit can turn a Bystial (or Azamina Ezette) + HT into a +2 negate and S/T pop.

Muckraker and Berformat were used to give me more options around the Welcome Labrynth fiend lock - it was rare but did sometimes come up. Berformat could easily be an Aerial Eater but the idea is it dump WF Azamina (if you needed to recycle The Hallowed Azamina eg your fusion got hit with Called By or something) or to dump Arianna / Lovely to reborn with Muckraker. Berformat's graveyard effect can sometimes come up since people love to banish Lovely / Azamina fusions with wonderfully designed cards like Drillbeam T_T.

If I had to make changes, -1 Ghost Ogre, -1 Deception +2 Different Dimension Ground is probably something I would consider testing.
