Notes & Combos

Hey there,

if you like Drytron but you are not a big fan of Herald or for example the Vanity Rulers lock this should be a lot of fun for you. For me it kinda is the Chad version of this archetype. Its builed in a way of beeing somewhat decent at both going first and going second. I can even see this beiing a really good going fully second by changing up a few cards.

Its a mix of good attack and defense while beeing a combo deck that is noway near painfully long to play like some synchro or adamancipator decks. But its importend to know exactly how this deck and the combos works otherwise its really hard to play, please keep that in mind.

Its really good playing arround negates in many cases its even Nibiruproof (which seams to gain in popularity) by turboing out the Crystal Wing Beast.

For your information the climb went from Diamond V to Master V with not more than 50 games played.

If I go first the perfect board looks like this :

• 3200 ATK Appolousa
• Draconids
• Crystal Wing Beast
• 2 materials attached Fafnir
• Sauravis in the Hand

However this is not consistently possible so the endboard usally only has a 1600 ATK Appolousa and 1 Material on Fafnir which is still good.

But you can also end with IP: Masquerena and 12000 Lifepoints abusing Natasha which is kinda cool as well.

If I get "Maxx "C" eed" I go into Kikinagashi Fucho , end my turn and hopefully have maxx C in my own hand. Only one person managed to overcome this little bird so that really speaks for itself kinda shocked how noone plays Goddess.

Going second you have so many cards that just do something that I try to step by step bait out negates than go into Draconids to clear the field or Goddess to negate everything. You can steal monsters with Anima and Natasha which is really helpfull. And a card cruelly underrated is Sauravis. It helps so much getting your combos throu and you can even search it with Preparation of Rites.

Closing Remarks : Since noone really plays this I had to come up with a lot , all by my own. With more tweaks and maybe not a douchbag like me but top a tier player piloting this deck I am sure there is more much potential in Drytron / Vendread than it may seams on the surface.
