Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

I cycled through a few lists this season but settled on this. Evenly felt required to let me get on the board against decks like Yubel and SEFK, probably didn't help I can't win a coinflip to save my life and they've been getting wiser to Notebook/Digger plays.

Only 1 Jioh did actually lose me a game, but the card is incredibly bricky especially without the extra Notebooks. Only 1 Notebook might look odd but I also lost a game where searching it with Hanzo would have saved me when I wasn't running it.

Insect and the XYZs are pretty interchangeable with whatever, the ED in pure Ninja is quite flexible. Insect did actually get summoned once or twice this season, so congrats to the bug but you don't need to waste the dust.

Wanted to try and get these guys to at least Master before the pack drops since I doubt I'll try to take them to Master 1 this season. Not because of format woes or anything, just a big fan of Ice Barriers

As the duels get longer the misplays increase so if something looks wrong it just might be.

You'll also see some of the other list running Super Poly. I think the choice of board breaker can be interchangeable; SPoly is 'better' going first but Ninja has poor hand advantage so it can be awkward to use. Evenly Matched is mostly dead going first but we are running the Upstart to convert dead Evenly's on turn 1 or in the grind.
