Notes & Combos
After joining my first OTS tournment several weeks ago, I remember underestimating the collective strength of these Loli's. This month playing Traptrix has taught me to really read my cards thoroughly and understand the limitations with my cards.
Traptrix Garden is a god send. If someone Nibs you, remember that you can always use the field spell to summon back your Lolis. The armored xyz engine is such a great way to get a non-target removal, has a high OTK potential and also ready to bait out Ash's. This can be tricky to play around Nib so take into consideration of either having rafflesia out and gravedigger's trap hole. Morganite is the underdog of this whole deck and lets you sneak in up to 3 normal summons if you have Traptrix Garden out. You might be wondering why Shifter is here, most of the time, you will shifter before morganite and it often cause rage against your opponents (LOL). Also there will be games were you won't see either morganite or shifter. Cosmic Cyclone helped a lot against the Yubel's Nightmare Pain and even sometimes against Snake-Eyes during my climb. I highly recommend putting at least one. Evenly Match is a must with Traptrix as it can be used for going 2nd, and even if you are going first it can be used as fodder for Trap Holeutea. I am a big fan of teching in at least one Solemn Strike, and Solemn Judgement since it can really ***** with people's plays even if you go 2nd.
I rarely used Zeus, Goddess, Bagooska or Abyss Dweller this season but they came in at very specific scenarios. Please note you can always switch out Cularia, Abyss Dweller, and Goddess as they are not staples rather good utility in specific scenarios. The rest of the extra deck I feel is a must.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Enjoy your duels and hoping you all have a wonderful day.
