Notes & Combos

The end is near. Back on my journey to play every deck feature in Yugioh Vrains and finally the last deck of the Vrains Saga is here, Dinowrestlers. The second deck played by Go Onizuka and the hardest deck to not only build but also climb. Looks cooler than Gouki in the anime but absolutely useless irl. First lets go over the cons then the pros.

CONS

1. 95% of dinowrestlers are useless. The only dinowrestlers I found useful were the ones listed.
2. Because dinowrestlers only have good effects turn 2 you are at the mercy of going second in a meta where everyone is trying to floodgate you, ftk, or losing the coin flip to tenpai and starting turn 1 with no combo.
3. Easily stopped with a well placed handtrap. The choke points are pretty obvious.

Pros

1. Pankratops is best boy. Opponent reveals a floodgate trap and can easily pop it off the field.
2. Because it's similar to dinos the combo lines are exactly the same so easy to learn but instead of summoning UTC we summon a dinowrestler from the extra deck.
3. We gladly take the maxx c challenge. Because of miscellaneousaurus we're immune to handtraps and only have problems with yubel or decks that play multiple bystials to stop us for going for game in the battle phase.

As mention before we don't play UTC because we play the beta evolution pill. This allows us to cheat out our 2 dinowrestler extra deck monsters. Dinowrestler Spinosavate is usually what we summon 9/10 times to use it's effect to pop a monster on the field to make it easier to go for game. Dinowrestler Chimera T Wrextle is summon only when we need to do piercing damage or we can hard summon our spinosavate using Dinowrestler Iguanadraka and Dinowrestler Coelasilat. Can easily search either of these cards when we special summon Dinowrestler Systegosaur using babycerasaurus or petiteranodon.

For the combos I will recommend everyone to look at the dinos channel on mdm discord and follow the google spreadsheet posted in the pinned messages to see how to play. Just replace searching double evolution pill with beta and special summon UTC with Spinosavate. Final thoughts on this version of dinowrestlers is enjoyable when you pop off but struggles a lot with many of the decks on the tier list.
