Notes & Combos
Small change from last season since Pot of Prosperity was banned. People had more questions, so I have more answers. Check out last season's deck for more questions and answers.
"No Smallworld?"
No Smallworld. It's always nice to have access to Nemleria, but aside from searching for the dream tower she doesn't do anything turn one. Usually you're turn one endboard is only going to have one or two interactions, niether of which depend on Nemleria being in the extra-deck. That being said, between Sweet Dreams, Pot of E, and Gen/Ken I usually don't have a problem getting Nemleria in my hand turn one. By no means does this mean Smallworld isn't good for the deck, just that I don't feel the need for it personally.
"What would you put in to replace Pot of Prosperity since it's getting banned?"
Still working on that. Pot of Prosperity is an absolutly insane card for any deck that can use it, and I'm suprised that it took so long for it to be banned. I've tried a few different cards, and am trying Fenrir right now (thanks to brontosauropodus_rex for the idea).
I see people on the Nemleria discord channel wanting to try this deck. The most important part of this deck is knowing how your opponent's deck plays. A well timed Louve or Repeter will end your opponent's turn. Tenpai? Dreaming Reality will flip Chundra face down during the battle phase, and Repeter will stop battle phase sychros. Yubel? Dreaming Reality flips Samsara D Lotus face down, and Repeter will negate their Yama's search with the added benefit of removing your large body from the field, preventing Nightmare pain from inflicting leathal. Snake-Eye Fire King? Just stop Ash from searching. These are just a few examples, and they probably won't be applicable in every duel against these decks. The main point is, if you know your opponent's deck, you know how to stop their plays, even if all you have is Louve or Repeter.
