Notes & Combos

Back after a tenpai-induced break, tested something I wanted to try for a while in Melodious Nouvelles. Deck seems capable, went from P5-D2 at a comfortable 80% wr then struggled a bit in D1 against good old Tenpai, maxx C and d-barrier. It's late season in Dark Magician ranks tho, so I'll have to test a bit more to figure out if it's better than pure.

The synergy is there if you squint a bit, the Melodious engine will at the very least give you apollo + poissoniere access through beyond or electrumite, and does so while giving you 2 draws in the process from Concerto and Electrumite. While it's not combo on its own, the draws you get mean it's very rare to open the melodious line and be unable to go into Nouvelles after.

Extra deck is super tight with the inclusion of the odd-eyes package, you can drop it but it makes a really nice endboard when highrolling ostinato in opener.

Not playing the egg package and instead focusing on using Diviner for a synchro into Baronne more often than before, easy to do with Sakitama or a leftover Refrain.

R.I.P to Psy-frame Gamma, the greatest card to ever live :(
