Notes & Combos

  • Vaylantz is much better without the SHS package. I prefer to run multiple hand traps and board breakers, and SHS consumes too much space without offering much.
  • Include 3x Small World because consistency is key.
  • You can reach Shinonome with Small World using almost any card. Remember that Dinomist Rex, Gamma, and Buster Baron as a middle bridge will lead to Shinonome.
  • Accesscode is excellent as a secondary lethal option. Always accept the Maxx "C" challenge and go for the OTK.
  • Gamma package suprisingly came in very handy, people do not expect vaylantz to run gamma it is also a good card for small world.
  • The end board usually looks like Arktos, Apollo with 3 materials, and 1/2 Vaylantz monsters (Duke/Archer), remember to pop one of the field spell so that opponent cannot use it.
  • Replacable ED cards are Underworld goddess, Avramax, Spright Elf, zeus is there if you go into bagooska and opponent just passess.
  • Replacable MD Cards are Eccentrick, Gamma Package(Although it is very good).
