Notes & Combos

i tried climbing with charmers (spoilers it went badly) So here's a anti-meta option.

The idea is that a lot of the bystials have double duty, i.e. they are both d.d. crow and they have a function on the field. As a result, you can just keep trading 1 for 1 interaction with their GY effects whilst still keeping bodies on the field. Also the meta is chock-full of lights/darks so we're maxxing out on Bystial counts.

Deck building thoughts:

• Fuwalos sucks *** going first i would not play it
• No albaz because I summoned Mirrorjade like once in every 20 games. I think I've unironically summoned Striker dragon by linking him of more.
• Nutbuster dragon hurts to draw so I don't play it.
• Generally my Seals target is Baldrake, or if they don't have much it's Magnamhut
• Bystial ALuber is in there as a normal summon option if i have lubellion + 1 bystial. His on-field effect is redundant, but it's a tuner so you can make Dis Pater.
• Never summoned Savage, it's just there as a Dark end Evaporation target.
• Never used Pisty, Twin Triangle, Dharc, Underworld Goddess, or I:P. Feel free to take them out in favour of other ED tech options.
• Phantazmay is an absolutely fantastic option (or at least whenever it worked) right now since everyone and their mother is playing Moon -> Sequence, so you basically get to fix your hand. Tbh playing a 3rd Talents might be better.
• Once Lacrima releases I will probably be playing the Fiendsmith stuff over Black Metal Dragon because HOLY MOLY Darkness Metal is GLUED to my hand
• Never needed more than 1 regained. It's not particularly a card you want to see going 2nd. Good matchups:
• Tearlaments
• Fiendsmith
• Yubel
• Azamina

Really bad matchups include:

• Tenpai (i did not win a single game)
• Snake-Eye FK
• Any deck that doesn't use Lights/Darks

If they ever summon Sequence, DO NOT BYSTIAL THE FIENDSMITH. I know it's really tempting, but they can just summon Lacrima fusion and summon it anyways. You're better off holding it until they summon Lacrima first.
