Notes & Combos

Deck is incredibly strong going first. Circular alone can give you Terahertz, Masquerena and the Superfactorial setup.

If I got to that board, it was pretty much GG. Throughout the whole climb, that board lost exactly twice (Labrynth and Branded), and both were because of missplays on my part (I forgot Albaz used one of my monsters for fusion and I lost my Laplacian XD).

Going second, you still have enough handtraps to put up a fight, unless it's Snake Eyes. I don't think I won a single game going second against that deck.

Droll is your best friend. I played only 2 imperms to make room for an extra veiler, since it works better against Exodia

---- Random thoughts ----

• Armored bitron is ok on paper, but I never felt like it did anything. I'd probably swap it for the third Cynet Mining once it goes to 3.
• I hate having to use Hydra, but without it you need an extender in order to end up with Masquerena.
• Packbit is good, but it didn't do much for me. Whenever I needed it, I didn't have a card in my hand.
• I think you can push this further and if you want to be an absolute degenerate, you can change Packbit for Apollousa, so you can go into that instead of Little Knight whenever you have enough extenders. I haven't tried it though.
• I have a love/hate relationship with Firewall Defenser. It's your best starter, but after you use the first one it becomes largely useless. That's why I'm playing 2 + Armored Bitron.
