Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

I have no clue what I'm doing. I tried to get to Master V for the first time with Exodia, but got stuck at Diamond 1, almost deranked a couple times and had a overall bad experience. Lost like 80% of the coin flips, got some horrid matchups and some very bad luck (turns out, veiler and druiswurm basically defeat Exodia on their own, almost).

After almost deranking for a second time, I gave up on exodia and looked up a meta deck to finish the climb. I've chosen Snake-Eyes Fiendsmith Azamina mainly because I had most of the Snake-Eyes cards already and pulled most of FS and Azamina from the selection pack, so it wasn't THAT expensive to craft the rest. That said, I'm missing cards like Underworld Goddess, Fuwa and some handtraps because I ran out of UR CP.

Honestly, I don't even know how to play this deck properly, I just copied a Master I list and opened a combo tutorial in my second monitor (go check out the video from Moha - Master Duel if you need it like me), and then proceeded to just replicate the combo whenever possible.

Sure, some games required me to improvise, and thank god I already played Snake-Eyes months ago, but I don't really know what half of the cards do, at least not by heart.

After swtiching to this deck, I played 6 games (2 Wins - 4 Losses) trying to get the hang of the deck, and then got a 4 game win-streak to catapult from Diamond I to Master V.

So, did I climb because of luck? Maybe. Did I climb because of my skills? **** no. Did I climb because this is the best deck in the game right now? Probably. That said, my god, this deck is a drag to play, the combos are huge.
