Notes & Combos

It's very rare of me posting a decklist that I didn't get the top rank with especially with knowledge of a card that is suppose to be on the banlist but I literally had this decklist waiting before the recent banlist news(was just waiting for ringowurm to be release but I was already in the middle of my g golem run so I decided this month will be fine to do magikey only to see the news). Unfortunately I couldn't climb any higher due to time. Highest I got to was master 3 so if I had another week or so I could have made it to master 1.

Rambling aside, you might be asking what does magikey actually do. Surprisingly it can end on a board with 5-6 interuptions. Of course that's the best case scenario where the more common board ends with 3-4 interuptions. That all relies on chaos ruler which can mill/add extenders. But how do you make chaos ruler in magikey? Well my favorite way is having the field spell Magikey World and the ritual monster Magikey Mechmusket:

• Activate the field spell to search Clavkiys
• If the in archetype ritual/fusion spell "Magikey Maftea" isn't in your hand you can use the field spell to search it at the cost of 1 other card in your hand returning to the deck
• Summon Clavkiys and activate maftea
• Due to how maftea works, if you control a normal monster you can now send a normal monster in your deck as cost for the ritual summon. Highly advise to use a level 4 light normal monster as it synergizes with the deck and in this case it's Power Pro Knight Sisters(Free royal rare you have btw so make sure to flex it on your opponent)
• Ritual summon mechmusket and activate it's effect to search Maginificent Magikey Maftea
• Activate maginificent to gain a additional normal summon. Normal summon maginificent and activate it's effect to summon back a level 4 normal monster from the gy
• Synchro summon maginificent and clavkiys to make Magikey Fiend-Transfurlmine.
• Activate transfurlmine effect to set Magikey Unlocking(don't want our in archetype counter trap milled)
• Finally synchro summon mechmusket with power pro to make chaos ruler.

And with that even if you're mills are bad you still have two interuptions with transfurlmine destroying a monster of the same attribute in the gy and a spell/trap negate. If you are able to get ringowurm or assault synchron the level 10 synchros help boost the deck tremendously with the help of dis pater and baronne. More combos can be seen in my replays as it will be too hard to write it all out.
