Notes & Combos
This is a chaos deck using Centurion as a supplemental engine that's able to consistently get cards out of hand and not conflict with Chaos Witch's harsh summoning lock. It's sent to the GY either with Arma Knight/Foolish, or sent from hand with Stand-Up. Occasionally you can use your NS with a tuner extender to get it into grave as well. Once there it gives 2 Tuners with either a Bystial or Mental Tuner. Mental Tuner doesn't read that strong on its face, but it's summonable off E-Tele and very flexible. Besides banishing Witch, it can also recover Lubellion when you're forced to banish it, and while you usually want to make it Level 4 making it Level 2 or keeping it 3 come up as well.
This deck is very non-linear, so I can't really give dedicated lines (tbh, I constantly feel like I play it wrong myself). Broadly, you often want to go into Auxila to bridge into your Centurion stuff, though if you already have Stand Up the need to do so is lessened (though still worth considering). In particular, Lubellion+Chaos Witch banish gets into it by using the 2 Tuners to go Dis Pater->Auxila, with Regained able to retrieve Dis Pater on your opponent's turn. Omega+Dis Pater is also a classic combo that's pretty strong here, and one of the more Nib-resistant lines this deck has (one of the big downsides of Chaos Witch is that you can't make Baronne). Scarred Dragon is like Chaos Ruler at home, in that it's an 8* synchro that gives you another 8* body (it's also a Dragon to go into Dis Pater for when you don't have a Bystial). Be careful with it though, RDA is not free and can wipe your own board if you mess up and can't get it off the field. Usually, you either use it as fodder for Lubellion or to make Auxila/Crimson with a 4* Tuner.
While Arma Knight is primarily for sending Chaos Witch, it can also send Destrudo or Saronir->Lubellion. Destrudo is good for 7* synchros, Dragster going first but especially Yazi going second. After popping itself it can summon Chaos Mirage, making a very strong board-breaking duo. Mirage is also neat with Centurion, since it can banish on opponent's turn.
Shadow's Light has a number of applications:
- Auxila->Crimson
- Bystial->Malong
- Chaos Witch->Primera
- Arma Knight->Raiden
Crimson is usually the most desirable, but the other options give flexibility when you can't quite get to that point. You can also discard Shadow's Light with Stand Up solely to get 2 normals (Arma Knight is not OPT btw).
