Notes & Combos

Here with a new Orcust deck.

Field set up

For you turn one the Ideal board would be to have the fallowing cards:

  • D/D/D WHKC + red-eyes fusion + predaplant + Masquarena + dingirsu(skeleton attached) + orcustrated babel + Harp horror in the graveyard + 1 card in the hand

This would be in an ideal scenario but since some cards will be negated you won't be able to get the same board. These are the board types you want to get on your board at the end of your turn in order:

you always want harp horror to be in the graveyard at the end of your turn!

1- red-eyes fusion + predaplant + Masquerena + orcustrated babel + in the GY dingirsu with skeleton

2- "If you can't get masquerena out then " red-eyes fusion + predaplant + Galatea + crescendo instead of orcustrated babel

3- If not enought monsters can be summoned: Masquerena + Galatea + orcustrated babel

In all 3 board types D/D/D WHKC has the lowest priority and is the most likely to have its summon negated.

Card roles

  • kashtira: its used to bait the first hand traps and for extra summoning power, you always use them first.
  • bystials: are used to interupt the ennemy GY and for extra summoning power, if you get lubellion in your hand try to summon it to get branded regained
  • fiendsmith: its used to easely access D/D/D WHKC
  • Danger: Its used to get more summoning power and used as discard material for mermaid and grepher
  • orcust: Its used for its summoning power and to be able to summon during your opponents turn with the field spell (very usefull paired with bomber)

IMPORTANT! NEVER USE AN ORCUST EFFECT IN THE GY BEFORE SUMMONING ANY OTHER NON DARK TYPE MONSTER, Ounce you use and orcust card in the GY you are locked in summoning dark monsters only!!!

Combo

At the start 3 scenarios are possible.

1- You have a fiendsmith card in your hand: you want to get D/D/D WHKC first, then mermaid.

2- you do not have a fiendsmith card in your hand: you want to get mermaid first then D/D/D WHKC.

3- you have a bad hand and can't summon enough monsters: ignore getting D/D/D WHKC out and focus on getting mermaid.

From here the next actions goes as fallow for the first board type:

  • summon predaplant then galatea to search for the field spell or the counter trap depending on the scenario.
  • summon dingirsu and attach skeleton to it
  • summon masquerena using dingirsu
  • summon red-eyes fusion can't be summoned via predaplant if the fusion spell is in your hand
