Notes & Combos
Kittytail is very good. Mosquito is very good. Kalantosa at 1?? Yes.
------------------
Depending on what I face every few matches on ladder I consider a few tech options :
- 3x Droplet + 2x Evenly can be swapped for a lot of different things depending on what you are seeing the most. Droplet/Evenly is the most broad option but I did run into a matchups that I have techs for :
- 2x Raigeki, 1x Harpies Feather Duster - solid budget friendly option for those saving dust/coin.
- Veiler / Ghoust Mourner & Moonlit Chill - I was getting a LOT of value over Ash (it's harder to ash some of the current meta decks as a lot have chain protection) and the damage was surprisingly cheesy.
- Nibiru a solid option but I found myself "losing less hard" with it instead of winning losing games, so I didn't use it much.
- Dimensional Barrier / Herald of the Abyss - Both kind of solve the same purpose. Abyss is easier to use and Barrier is harder to use, but better against Kash as well. Decide what you prefer if you're facing a lot Kash/Purr on ladder. (I really didn't see a ton personally).
---------------------------
Extra Deck got interesting. I ended up swapping a few key things out here and there :
- Old Entity Hastorr - Solid card vs Purr to be honest. You can equip to Expur Noir and when he dips out of 5 materials (often) you can still grab him.
- Alternatives include :
- Second Accel Synchro (Kash banishes your 1 copy if they're smart)
- Second Herald of the Arc Light self explanatory
- I don't know, literally anything you want it's just Hastorr.
- Alternatives include :
- Icejade Gymir Aegirine - Lowkey kinda sucks. I hardly ever use it unless Satellite is somehow unavailable. (Satellite on destruction effect too strong).
- You could probably replace this card with something you prefer.
- Number 2: Ninja Shadow Mosquito - Very niche but comes up a lot if you get good at it. Bonus points because no one knows wtf is going on when you use it, it's heat.
- Don't replace it. Get good with it. Cheese the current meta consisting of large body cards like Rescue Ace, Kash, and Labrynth.
I included a handful of replays that my ADHD brain focused long enough to record without autopiloting the game closed and losing access. I'll keep working on more as I get to M1. I don't imagine the list will change a ton, however... mostly just the cards in this section rotating.
