Notes & Combos
Do you want to play a fun deck but are tired of losing to Tenpai's boardbreakers? Do you like swarming the field with little guys to make big guys? If so, I present to you PK Goblin Armored Kali Yuga turbo. Because they can't break your board if they don't get to play. Very good at going first, gas to play through a lot of handtraps. Only really dies to Shifter and I guess a few handtraps on a mid hand. Pretty decent are going second. You have two OTK tools: the Arc Rebellion line and the Armored line. Which one you use depends on the game state.
Good matchups: Anyone who wants you to go first, like Tenpai or Ancient Gear. Anything that doesn't play enough handtraps going second, like Tear or Branded.
Worst matchups: Shifter decks if they open it. Droll can be rough. Big build-a-board decks when you have to go second and don't open Droplet or Talent and enough gas. Labrynth is kinda rough if they have Dimensional Barrier or Daruma.
If you open PK names, go Cherubini first into Bardiche, then Goblin and Armored. If you open no PK names, you can do Goblin stuff first, but beware that you need an extender because a mid hand can lose to imperm on Gabonga. On the other hand, you can try to bait Ash or Imperm on Gabonga if you open the Goblin spell or a Goblin name + Terrortop, for example.
Optimal board is Rusty, 1-2 Fog blades, Rank-Up set, Gabonga with a card ready to detach, I:P, Dark Knight Lancer with no material and Breaksword equipped to make it a Rank 7 Dark (as a result of Armored XYZ's effect) to rank-up to Kali Yuga at the start of their Main Phase 1. This uninterrupted set up also provides immense follow-up for your next turn. Less optimal boards can vary but if you play through 1-3 interruptions and still put up some of your own, you are in a good spot. Kali Yuga set up doesn't require the full combo, in a pinch you can skip Goblin stuff (or use if as bait) and/or use Fog Blade as an extender.
Might remove Clatter Sploder and one Goblin spell for the M1 climb. Thinking about how much you need the second OTK line. Will update on the next list. Let any questions on the comments.
Replays
ID 167-162-424. The two first replays, you can see how Kali Yuga stops boardbreakers. The third one shows how I play through Imperm, Ash and Veiler + Lightning Storm on their turn and still beat Tenpai. The fourth one shows how to play through Nib (only time I was Nib'd on my climb).
