Notes & Combos
D5 -> D2 -> D3 -> M5
After being in D5 for 7 games, I ended up going on a 13 game win streak.. followed by a 5 game lose streak to derank to D3.. followed by a 5 win streak before winning/losing every so often before finishing things off with a 7 game win streak into M5.
The deck that I had the most issues against was Tenpai this time around. Started with a 1-6 record against them and ended on a 5-9 record (could have won at least 1 more game.. but I didn't play around Gamma being the last card in their hand). It felt like they always had an answer for Mantis so I couldn't search Arach, hit me so I couldn't really build a board, or just had LS/Raigeki while I didn't have a negate/way to stop it. It did really make me think of dropping Maxx C to less copies, but I ultimately didn't make any changes.
Besides Tenpai and a handful of Yubel/Yubel variant decks, my games at least felt pretty varied for decks I faced. (for better or worse)
For deck changes, I was thinking about maybe dropping Iron Thunder/some Judgments for Strike again, and as mentioned maybe dropping a copy of Maxx C thanks to Tenpai, but I'm not certain how much of a difference those changes would make. Judgment can be great.. but if you don't draw it against LS/Duster in the Tenpai match-up, Strike feels like it'd be solid enough still and more useful going second.

- Going first against Tenpai. They opened Paidra + Sangen + Droplet, but no boardwipes/handtraps. Ended up toying with them since I forgot in the moment if attacking a f/d Tenpai still triggered their effects lol [9 turns - Kanji]
- Going first against Lab. Saved it mainly for the TT play [7 turns - Kanji]
- Going second against Goblin Bikers. Would have lost if their deck was better though. First time facing them as well. [7 turns - Kanji]
