Notes & Combos

Finally Ken and Gen are here, I've been wanting to cook with them for months.

This Deck makes some really good use of Gen specifically, because he makes our Dogmatika lineup a LOT more consistent. And since we inherently have a good Tenpai matchup (because of Winda) this deck works better than ever.

Basically Gen tunrs on a ton of cards in our deck as starters:

  • Thrust, after the opponent resolves Ken, grabs Nadir
  • Matrix, with Ken on the opponents side, grabs Maximus
  • Ecclesia can SS herself, because Gen can link into Al'Miraj and Gardna
  • Maximus can SS himself aswell because of Al'Miraj

The rest of the deck is pretty standard, but a couple things of note:

Ghost sisters and Maxx "C" can also link into Al'Miraj an thus make Ecclesia and Maximus live, so I run a total of 10 of them

Iris Swordsoul is the best target for Luluwalilith (which gets sent off Calamity), because we most likely have access to Ecclesia when doing that line anyway

Forbidden Lance is a completely flexible spot. YOu can even run another 3-of, since the deck is reasonably consistent anyways. I run Lance, because i realized the decks biggest weaknesses are Imperm, Lance can dodge that, and especially Droplet, which everyone seems to be running now. It doesn't always dodge that, but sometimes is honestly good enough.

Other techs I've tried which also worked:

  • Super-Poly
  • Book of Moon
  • Thrust Targets (Duster, Raigeki, Change of Heart)
  • 1-of Imperm and Designator

End-Boards and combos are really simple since we always try to go for Schism (via Maximus), Fleur De Lis (via Ecclesia or Titaniklad), Punishment (via Ecclesia) or Iris Swordsoul (via Luluwalilith).

The deck can also grab TTTalents if we already have full combo after Gen, and I don't think I lost a single game after using it to handrip.

All in all this deck is REALLY fun and super simple to play, just make sure to scout the opponents Extra Deck using Maximus before using Alba Zoa, so you dont have to deal with 1000 GY effects from your opponent.

Replay #1 vs. TAMSWAG: really simple example of how the Schism line works.

Replay #2 vs. Phantom: Shows how good just continously sending stuff from our ED is. Can also be done with Maximus.
